Upon your arrival, either at the airport or a central location in Arusha town, a Grayton Expeditions representative will warmly welcome you. Subsequently, you will commence your journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival at the park, you will embark on a game drive, offering the chance to spot various wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, bushbucks, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species like the Ground Hornbill, Marabou stork, Grey heron, and Vultures. At 12:30 PM, you'll check into your hotel for lunch and relaxation, with a three-hour break before an evening game drive at 3:30 PM. This drive may take you to Lake Manyara, where you might encounter Hippos, Elephants, Hyenas, Serval cats, Honey badgers, African Civets, Mongooses, Cheetahs, Leopards, Jackals, and other wildlife. The lake's shores are also rich in birdlife, including great and lesser flamingos, Northern Shovelers, Yellow-billed storks, Pelicans, Black-winged stilts, Pied Avocets, Caspian plovers, Ruffs, Common gull-billed terns, among others. At 6:00 PM, you will be transported back to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation, preparing for your upcoming tour to Serengeti National Park at 7:00 AM the following day.
After breakfast, check out and drive for 3 hours to Serengeti National Park with an expected arrival around 10:00 AM. After completing the park entry procedures, you'll embark on a game drive en route to your hotel. This presents opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife, including Giraffes, Elephants, Hippos, Migratory Wildebeests, Plains Zebras, Heartbeats, and Duikers. Bird enthusiasts may also encounter species like Hadada ibis, Lapwings, Longcraws, Spoonbills, Starlings, Weavers, Common Bulbuls, and Crown Cranes. Check in at your hotel for lunch and relaxation, followed by a 3-hour break. Later in the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, you'll embark on an evening game drive, where you can observe distinctive vegetation such as Thorny acacias, Baobab trees, and Palm trees. Additionally, the flat swamps in the park offer excellent opportunities for bird watching, with species including Yellow Collared lovebirds, Red billed Hornbills, Ground Hornbills, Lilac-breasted rollers, Ostriches, Pelicans, and Shoebills. Afterwards, you'll be transferred back to the hotel, where you'll check in and prepare for the upcoming tour to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the following day.
Begin your day with an early morning breakfast at either the lodge or campsite, then set out with a packed lunch for an extensive full-day safari within the park. Your day will be dedicated to exploring the park in its entirety, seeking out its inhabitants, including big cats, the iconic Big Five, a multitude of wild creatures, and more. As the day concludes, you'll return to your chosen lodge or campsite for a satisfying dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Begin your day with an early morning breakfast then later check out of the hotel. Drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you shall kick off to a morning game drive. You may be able to spot wild animals such as: Lions on hunt, Hyenas scavenging a carcass, Giraffes, Migratory wildebeest, Plain zebras, among other herbivores roaming on the savannah grassland. Check in at the hotel for lunch and then relax for 2 hours before resuming back for an afternoon game drive at the Olduvai Gorge pre-historic site, where remains of the old man have been preserved dating millions of years. You shall learn how man evolved till present. You will also have a chance to to see the art crafts used for hunting, making fire, defense among others. Later in the evening, leave Olduvai Gorge pre-historic site and kick off to an evening game drive, where you might spot wild animals such as: Rhinos, Buffaloes, Leopards, African wild dogs and bird species such as: The Kori bustand, Ostriches, Secretary birds, Crown Crane, Vultures, Hornbills and plant species such as : Acacia, Euphobia, Cactus, Shrubs, among others. 1800hrs.You shall be transferred back to the hotel where you shall check in and prepare for tomorrow’s departure to Tarangire National Park.

Ngorongoro boasts the title of being the world's largest caldera. After an enriching day of wildlife exploration, you'll head to your chosen lodge or campsite, where you'll relish a delectable dinner and settle in for the night.
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, and then set off with a packed lunch for a comprehensive day of wildlife viewing on the floor of Ngorongoro Crater. Notably, Ngorongoro is renowned as the largest caldera on the planet. Following this remarkable experience, you'll journey to your chosen lodge or campsite, where a delightful dinner awaits, making it the perfect place to spend the night.
Start your day with a morning breakfast before setting out for additional game drives within the park. Following your wildlife encounters, return to the lodge for a lunch break. Afterward, enjoy a brief period of relaxation before embarking on a drive back to Arusha, aiming to arrive in the early evening. Once you've checked in, savor a delicious dinner, and then spend the night at the lodge.
Enjoy breakfast before proceeding to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Please note that flight fares are not included in the package price and will be arranged separately at an additional cost.
