12-Days Classic Beach & Family Bush Safari

This Kenyan bush safari combined with the beach offers a diverse and enriching experience. The safari takes you on a thrilling journey through Kenya's iconic national parks like Masai Mara, Amboseli, and Tsavo, where you can witness the Big Five and the Great Migration amidst stunning landscapes. After the safari adventure, the Kenyan coast beckons with its pristine white-sand beaches along the Indian Ocean. Here, you can unwind, indulge in water sports, and explore vibrant coastal culture in places like Mombasa and Diani Beach. It's a perfect blend of wildlife encounters and seaside relaxation, providing a comprehensive taste of Kenya's natural beauty and cultural richness.

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai mara

Early in the morning, we'll collect you from your hotel in Nairobi. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can arrange to meet you at the airport in the morning. After providing you with a comprehensive safari briefing, we'll begin our journey to Maasai Mara by road, with a brief stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint en route. Upon your arrival at the safari lodge, you'll check in, followed by a leisurely lunch and an opportunity to unwind during the early afternoon. Later, you'll embark on your inaugural game drive within the national reserve.

Day 2: Masai Mara

You'll rise early in the morning, savor a cup of coffee, and embark on a morning game drive within Maasai Mara. This time of day offers an excellent opportunity to witness captivating wildlife moments as the animals tend to be more active in the cooler temperatures.

After your game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. The remainder of the morning is yours to relax and enjoy the amenities provided by the safari lodge. Following lunch, you'll have ample time for a siesta, and later in the day, you'll set out on an evening game drive within the national reserve.

Alternatively, instead of the morning and evening game drives, you can opt for a full-day game drive, which is particularly recommended during the wildebeest migration season. In this scenario, you'll start your day with an early breakfast and depart from the lodge equipped with packed lunch in picnic boxes. You'll spend the entire day exploring the expansive plains, home to a diverse array of big game and plains animals.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National

Following an early breakfast at the lodge, you'll complete the check-out process and set off for Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey to Lake Nakuru is relatively lengthy, spanning approximately 6 hours. Upon your arrival at the lodge, you'll be able to enjoy a satisfying lunch. The early afternoon offers you some leisure time to relax. Later in the day, around 4 PM, you'll venture out for a safari drive within the national park, which will extend until sunset.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park

Indulge in an early breakfast at the lodge before commencing your journey to Amboseli National Park. This drive will be another extended one, lasting approximately 6 hours. You'll have the option to bring a packed lunch with you from the lodge in Lake Nakuru. Alternatively, you can choose to stop for lunch at a restaurant in Nairobi. Upon your arrival in Amboseli, there will be ample time for an afternoon game drive, and you'll proceed to the lodge just before sunset.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

Have early breakfast and thereafter proceeded to the park for another game drive. Large concentrations of wildlife occur here in the dry season, making Amboseli a popular tourist destination. It is surrounded by six communally owned group ranches, The National Park embodies five main wildlife habitats (open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps, and marshland) and covers part of a Pleistocene lake basin, now dry. Amboseli is famous for its big game and its great scenic beauty – and the landscape is dominated by the towering Mount Kilimanjaro. The plains offer numerous jackals, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, antelopes, and the chance of spotting leopard or cheetah. Observation hill, a conical peak that is easy to climb offers great views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After lunch, you can take another game drive or a guided nature walk. You may also have an optional visit to an authentic Masai village.

Day 6: Amboseli - Tsavo West National Park

After enjoying an early breakfast at the lodge, you'll begin your journey towards Amboseli National Park. This drive will encompass another lengthy stretch, spanning around 6 hours. You have the option to bring a packed lunch from your Lake Nakuru lodge.

As an alternative, you can also opt for a lunch stop at a restaurant in Nairobi. Upon reaching Amboseli, you'll arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, allowing you to explore the park's remarkable landscapes and wildlife. Later, you'll proceed to the lodge just before the sun sets. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, and is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and an array of bird species.

Day 7: Tsavo West - Tsavo East National Park

Commence your day with an early breakfast at the lodge, and then embark on the journey to Amboseli National Park. This drive will encompass another extended route, lasting approximately 6 hours. You'll have the option to carry a packed lunch with you from your Lake Nakuru lodge.

Alternatively, you can choose to stop for lunch at a restaurant in Nairobi. Upon your arrival in Amboseli, you'll have the opportunity for an afternoon game drive, where you can explore the park's unique landscapes and wildlife. Before sunset, you'll make your way to the lodge.
